Procurement

We manage our procurement processes from initial sourcing consultancy to tendering and outsourcing. We source locally and internationally from reputable Original Equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or their appointed representatives, based on our customers’ specification and business requirements.

Air Freight
Our well planned air freight service schedules are comprehensive and flexible enough to provide customers with the desired options that suit their needs.
We have in-house team with extensive airfreight management expertise. We handle airfreight documentation and processes with such dexterity and quality that our clients that have to rely on this mode of freighting possibly because tight schedules can justify customer preference for this rather expensive mode of freighting.

BMV has entered into a Joint Venture partnership with ANKANvcm, a Canadian company based in Calgary specializing in global value chain management services, as part of our strategy for holistic supply chain solution to our clients.
This provides the platform for global vendor selection, procurement, quality management and audits. With this, we manage our procurement processes from initial sourcing consultancy to tendering and outsourcing.

Fourth Party Logistics
We are strategically positioned as a 4PL service provider. we have a joint venture partnership with a foreign partner on global procurement. We have global partnership network for collection, pick-up and freighting of shipments across the world. We own local expertise in customs clearance. We equally control local haulage network to manage in-country distribution of goods.
This strengthens our capability to collaborate and align easily with our customers’ logistics needs acting as a one-stop supply chain solutions provider across their value chain.
Project Logistics and Haulage
We provide a specialized logistics solution to key project materials movements. These include liasing with manufacturers to provide regular updates on materials/equipment construction and readiness, selection of adequate vessel or aircraft for cargo conveyance, in-land route surveys to determine best method/route for cargo haulage, obtaining necessary permits and route clearances for land trucking, journey management for safe conveyance, and discharge/offloading and handling need during delivery.
Product Franchise / Distribution
There is growing interest of global players like China and Europe in the region. It is expected that global trade indices for African countries would continue to rise.
BMV Energy’s vision is to see Africa achieve sustainable product availability at all times. We have developed global networks for bulk product distribution. We handle product supply within cities and across rural settings. We are strongly pursuing franchise that would facilitate our cross-border product supply among African countries as well.
